what kind of… I can’t. That height difference is so big the word “difference” isn’t even strong enough. It’s a height disparity.

I love this meme because I think humans 10,000 years ago or 100,000 years ago would also like it
the heat of the fire draws air straight up from the center over the fire. This draws the air in from the sides in a circle around the fire creating an air current, which means air is being blown toward the fire from all sides. When you sit on one side of the fire, it blocks some of the air moving toward the fire from that side. Now there is more air being blown toward the fire from the side opposite you. This pushes the smoke your direction. When you move to the other side, it just makes the same thing happen over there. The smoke actually literally does follow you around no matter where you sit. Because physics.
in other words what you actually need at the fire is other people sitting around the fire with you to balance it out ;~;
Monsters.
I’m waiting for an arborist to hop on here and confirm that this is bad for those kind of trees or some shit, too.
Not an arborist, but as someone taught by an arborist: I can confirm you should NOT do this to this type of tree during summer. It puts incredible strain on them as they are trying to grow.
Also, I saw someone on twitter saying "pruning is normal" and I just want to add, when doing routine pruning you should not remove more than 30% of a tree's canopy. Idk about y'all but that looks like more than 30%
Take a listen to Misha on August 8th, during the timeframe he would have been quarantined in Vancouver and long before PR’s official story changed.
[Begin at timestamp 40:10]
“We’re going back to finish the series right now. An episode and a half left. And yet, we’ve taken four months off… and in that interstitial time… I think we’ve all had this interesting experience of actually mourning the end of the show. I had a conversation with another central cast member, um, right after we went home for quarantine, and we were both kinda shell-shocked – and way sadder, and way more at sea than we had expected to be. It felt like this thing that had been such a cornerstone, such an anchor in our lives for so long was suddenly gone. It was just a matter of like – not having that cathartic moment wrapping, having a wrap party, saying goodbye to everyone, it was like: you’re done. And that abrupt finish was really hard. I’m sure it would have been hard anyway, but it felt like not having that proper ceremonial goodbye made it really tough. It took us a while to recover from that, but then we went through a process of mourning the end of the show, and figuring out what the next phases of our lives would be, and percolating on the question of what we want to do next… I feel like I’ve mourned the end of the show already, and celebrated the decade plus that I spent on the show as well, so now, uh, it’s just like a little – it almost feels like a reunion rather than an end of the show, if that makes sense. It feels like we’re going back, it’s gonna be like a big hug, say goodbye to everyone, say I love you, uh, and, stay in touch, but it’s not – it’s not gonna be quite the same as it would have been.”

This standing, it’s also worth pointing out that J2 were confirmed to have gone into quarantine on August 2nd, and there is plenty of proof that Misha was ALSO quarantining in a hotel room for an extended amount of time in August (thanks to @occamshipper for assembling this timeline):
Another thing to point out is Misha’s post about the USPS on August 26th, saying “I sent a letter to my son 20 days ago. It arrived today.” [x]. While I didn’t include these formally because they were taken down, the GISH bunker announced on August 2nd that Misha would be doing GISH from his Vancouver hotel room, and Charlie Capen mentioned Misha quarantining for filming several times in his own livestreams.
The story about Misha’s filming being wrapped up in 15x18 (prior to shutdown) only started popping up early September, when the trailers dropped and filming for 15x20 began.
Everybody reblogging this after the finale aired to prove the point that The CW is trying to gaslight us: you’re valid.
I like the theory that Misha Collins was there for emotional support because Jensen Ackles was having a hard time with Dean Winchester’s fucking stupid major character death by pointy rebar. So I’ll headcanon that Misha Collins was there behind the cameras. Jensen Ackles definitely needed all the support for dealing with that.

I know this is fun theory but it brings up an important issue. Fact of the matter is, covid has the US/Canada border locked down HARD. You could only get in with intensive testing, strict quarantine, clearances and papers and a bulletproof work Visa. So, how the hell did Misha get in Canada if he wasn’t supposed to be working?
Personally I love the idea that Misha straight up went there to support his fellow cast members, but that’s quite literally impossible. The only way he would have gotten into the country was with a work Visa. Nobody could cross the border without paperwork detailing they had official business. This is covid guidelines.
So, why then, was Misha apparently in Van? People say it was for a different project, and I counter that with the information that SPN was the first set to reopen. People say it was for the Amazon movie he has a role in, but I counter that with the fact that they don’t shoot in Vancouver.
Just, what the fuck happened here?
Misha Collins had work visa as Spn cast guardian angel. I’m fairly sure that is a thing.
You know what? I accept this as my own personal reality headcanon
ok i have finally cycled around to thinking about Joe Trohman 27 Guitar Solo again and i think i need to be taken out immediately
